Well, bugger it I'm still in and I'm happy to go to either camp site. Lets have a show of hands for who prefers which camp site and then that's the one we'll go for.

I don't think it includes the £2.90. This could be good if they do a one night booking. Ah, ay up RB. Yep, we'll get there somehow!

Finally got hrough to someone and they dont take single night booking either, its going to be roughyl £52!! per pitch for the two nights And I didnt realise it's one tent per pitch! I thought you'd pay for an area and just stick all the tents on it! hmm dammit. So it looks like it either stay friday and saturday night or not atall what do you all think?

Just talked with MrsP on the phone. We're thinking of going to the Chertsey site for 3 nights, and going to Thorpe Park theme park on the Friday. 2nd thoughts it'll be a friggin nightmare during school hols. Now considering 2 nights...

Blimey didnt realise Thorpe Park was so close! you'd probably be able to see it from the site Well I cant afford to go to the second camp site anyway so the first one is the only option for me really (Ive still gotta buy the tent and everything!) Is everyone else ok for that one? My tent will be a spanking new two-man tent so I dont mind sharing even if you can only come for one night as you wouldnt get your own pitch then. The offer is there.

I've just phoned the first place again and they said that as long as there is a tent there for the two nights, anyone coming to share tent on the second night will only have to pay for that one night. Thought I'd check.

Right, we're going to wait a day just in case any alternatives are suggested, then if the plan stays the same I'll be calling the Chertsey site to book in for the Friday and Saturday nights.

Would it be better to book together so we dont get pitches on opposite sides on the site?

Would it be better to book together so we dont get pitches on opposite sides on the site? Good idea. Everyone who is definitely going say so here ASAP. We'll give it a couple of days then get booked in.

i will have to think it over for the next 24 hours. Money wise i have to watch every penny because i have a family wedding to go to and suit hire is not cheap especially for a fat twonk like me.
All the expence of buying the equipment from scratch and now pitch costs too.
The advantage i have though is that i live a stones throw away, a hop in a taxi or train and im on top of you guys in five mins. So cost wise it may work for me, i can still tag along with you guys and not have the expence which i can put towards the wedding of my niece.
I'll work it out over nightshift and let you know in the morning.

I'm still up for it. Money is not an issue,I've been saving since Feb. I too have a two man tent and all the gear. I'm up for sharing either way too. I'm just happy to be there.
