Thanks everyone. I know it's been a bit since I last posted in here but I managed to create a new animation using them. Look here. Remember to watch in HQ/HD mode for the best viewing. Hopefully next the next animation I create is going to be longer than 8 seconds.

New animation is up on youtube, found here. This one is nice and lengthy, and at the end has a slide show depicting each of my Dalek versions, showing how they got progressively better.

Nice bit of work there 'Commandingtripod' These Dalek look so much better than your original MK 1 type and the animation is great too. Well done.

Well this thread has had very little activity for about 3 months, very sad indeed. Here's some more work. This is my "Saucer Commander" Dalek. The colour scheme is based on the false rumor that the Saucer Commander Dalek that appeared in the 1st Doctor Who Story "The Dalek Invasion of Earth" had an alternating red pattern. Here is an interesting link about it if you want to read more. That was just a set of "Dalek Marines", going from basic warrior on the right to Commander on the left, with the Sub-Commander scheme inspired by Mechmaster. Something a little different, this Dalek has a claw that I made for it. I'm going to change the colour of the sphere on the end of the claw from black to grey in future renders. A final piece, the background was not designed by me but by a friend. When I looked at it saw the possibilities of adding Daleks and did so. I was planning on placing a couple of Dalek saucers on the top left but decided against it after trying. Either way, I'm still rather happy with this piece.

I like what you're doing and if you don't mind me giving a little advice I think I could help. If you don't keep to the basic perspective rules the picture won't look quite right, even if your picture is just a collage it will work better if you obey these rules. As you'll see in my copy of your piece the three Daleks in the bottom of the picture have an over view perspective, as though you were looking down on them, where as the Dalek in the top right of the picture has an under view as if it is towering over the viewer. this also gives this Daleke a dominant air. Hope this is of help.

I see you used your plumbing units from your comic, Pete. Those still make me laugh.

I see you used your plumbing units from your comic, Pete. Those still make me laugh. He-he I know they're not accurate but they were a convenient way to demonstrate a technical point.
