Perhaps you mean this one Fallingstar?:

No, he meant the second picture I posted - virtually identical to the first, but with an extra tripod falling over. That one you've posted is another Hardy painting, but it's much later. I think it's also been used as the cover of an old issue of Interzone.

The eyes of the tripods look better in the picture Thunder's provided!

The Doug Chang design is my favorite, though some of the designs in this thread are amazing!

Here's one I have only just found- I like to imagine the tripods in a hurry to get home shouting, "Sorry! Sorry! SORRY! Erk, sorry! Sorry! SORRRRRRYYYYY!" like in that Milk & Cheese comic, as they look remarkably clumsy and drunken here. And does anybody else find the perspective completely out of whack in this one? I mean, that man and his horse and cart must be TINY.

For me the only thing i really was fund for the film SS2005 are the tripods, i can't believe that they did that scene et never showed it, it is a shame, i new about the art, i did'nt know that the scene was done. Chantale

Studying TroC's work tonight when I found this. Doubtless it's likely been shown in the past but I think you all agree it's a nice addition?
